I hate to ruin the Academy Awards for you on Feb. 22, but I have the winners in the major cateogories. Ready? Here we go.

Best Documentary:

“Man on Wire.” This is the best documentary I’ve ever seen. Ever. Seriously. Go see it.

For best supporting actor, the winner is:

Heath Ledger in “The Dark Knight.” This one’s not even be close. Two next best performances: Phillip Seymour Hoffman in “Doubt” and Josh Brolin in “Milk.”

For best supporting actress, the winner is:

Viola Davis in “Doubt.” This will be the close contest. I also think Taraji Henson in “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” and Marisa Tomei in “The Wrestler.”

For best actor, the winner is:

Mickey Rourke in “The Wrestler.” This is really a tour de force. Long shots? Sean Penn in “Milk” and Frank Lengella in “Frost/Nixon.”

For best actress, the winner is:

Another slam dunk. Kate Winslet in “The Reader.” Hands down.

For best director, the winner is:

Danny Boyle for “Slumdog Millionaire.” Again, not even close.

For best picture, the winner is:

“Slumdog Millionaire.” It’s one of the best pictures of the past decade.
